OverviewCarle Health is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Cardiologist to join our expanding Pediatric multi‑specialty group at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
Opportunity Details
- Ambulatory Pediatric Cardiology clinic with inpatient consult coverage at Carle Foundation Hospital
- Balanced practice including outpatient visits, echocardiography, fetal cardiology (if desired), and inpatient consults
- Work alongside an established Pediatric Cardiology team with expertise in congenital heart disease, electrophysiology, advanced cardiac imaging, and fetal cardiology
- Comprehensive on-site pediatric subspecialties including Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Hematology, Rheumatology, Neurology, Developmental‑Behavioral Pediatrics, Pulmonology, Sleep, Genetics, Pediatric Surgery, Psychology, Nutrition, and 24‑hour Pediatric Hospitalist services
- Clinic physically connected to Carle Foundation Hospital, which includes a 48‑bed Level III NICU and 22‑bed Inpatient Pediatric & PICU unit staffed 24/7 with in‑house Neonatologists, Pediatric Intensivists, and Pediatric Hospitalists
- System-wide EPIC EMR for seamless care coordination
- Opportunity for academic appointment and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine in Urbana, IL, the nation's first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering
- Interpretation of diagnostics for Carle Health in addition to multiple independent medical systems.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $375,000 - $380,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
